WCW Backpack connection.
« on: May 28, 2009, 10:47:52 pm »
Going to order the wcw backpack with the microbore tap connection. I want to connect 8mm OD 5mm ID  transparent pole hose to this, what fixing is my best and easiest option. I like the look of the ez snap connectors, but unsure how to connect the transparent hose to the microbore tap.

thanks

Just order the EZsnap male connector and fit that to your pole hose with an o ring clamp if your ordering the pole then one of the options will be to have this fitted or speak to wcw and im sure they will fit one to your hose

or have the male on the tap, and a female on the pole hose, this way no water everywhere!

What I did was to snip the fitrting off the end, slide a bit of half inch hose over it and jubilee clip it.  Then a hozelock type fitting onto the half inch hose.  This is because the fittings I use on the pole hose are the ones that fit into hozelock type fittings.  I know you mentioned EZ Snap, but the above is another alternative if you decide differently.
