 question,  do tanks have a low down outlet aswell as a top opening, as would like to fit 250ltr tank or 400ltr in my transit connect,
next question who is best supplier in terms of price ,delivery
also as above for backpacks and vari flow, on the subject of vari flow can someone explain exactly how and what it does as unsure

I did a DIY and used Gardiners for Tank, microbore, reels, etc. Gaps for RO/DI stuff and Wintecs for pump and varistream

The varistream is the "brain" for the delivery pump so ensures constant flow at the brush regardless of height of pole, number of poles. I'd reccomend it.

A wee point to remember is the camber of roads if you're running a bit low on water.

It would be handy to have the tank's outlet on your van's nearside  - mine doesn't. This means that if your pump starts sucking air, you have to disconnect the outlet hose at the pump and suck the water back up to the pump. That's not the end of the world, but best avoided with a bit  of forward planning.

the same goes for up hill, but you cant heve everything, but as vans usually lean forward the best as you say in kerb side but at the front.

Varis work by controlling the speed of the motor to give a constant flow & pressure.

does the vari stream reduce ltr per min but maintain high pressure as is not the case when relying on hose tap, late reply my body thinks its still 10.50. John has tank got a lower outlet hole as some don't
ps can you just fit an outlet hole anyway

Simbo, yes the tank does have a low outlet hole almost floor level
