Carpet colour fade

Hi,

I was cleaning a bedroom carpet today when i noticed next to the bed,  where the sheet had been hanging,  the carpet was much lighter.. 

It was a dead straight line..  i know carpet colour can be different under beds and couches,  but lighter?

The carpet is a brownish berber.


Anyone know what has happpened?

I have seen green carpets change to brown through light damage and brown carpets change to green.
Stright line, sign of light damage

Carpets only 2 years old,  wonder if any warranty is there..
