Hydroforce sprayer
« on: October 19, 2006, 09:15:43 pm »
I have just brought one of these today, and reading the Chemspec catalouge it says they typically dilute 10:1
So as most of the pre sprays iv got need to be diluted around 20:1 am i right in thinking i would fill the container with half water and half pre spray ???

Red, my sprayer which I think is the same as you have can be adjusted to 20-1. So fill it with neat chemical and then adjust to suit your needs. Best, Dave.

Hi,

If the sprayer automatically dilutes at 10:1 and your presprays recommended dilution is 20:1 then you're correct, fill container half with water and half with prespray.

All the best,
Jason.

Hi,
If you fill the sprayer half with chemical and half water, isnt that 19:1?

No, that would be one to one. Best, Dave.

sorry,
I meant if you mix the prespray in the hydroforce 50:50 with water and then it is set to meter the contents  with water at 1:10, the prespray chemical has been diluted 1:19 with water (although I was wrong its actually 1:21)

When I use my hydraforce I always put a bit of smelly deodoriser in the solution, so when you are pre-spraying you can tell that the pre-spray concentrate is being picked up becuase you can smell it.

otherwise it might get blocked and you'll never know until you realise that the container isn't getting any emptier
