Vehicle Policy ?
« on: October 09, 2006, 03:24:49 pm »
Guys

I hate to reinvent the wheel so I was wondering if anybody has a vehicle policy that they are willing to share

To cover things like

- responsible for checking oil, water, fuel, tyres
- accident reporting
- parking costs for legitimate business use but not speeding fines
- notification of changes in circumstances - ie points
- regular provision of copies of licence to check still valid
- safe transportation of chemicals, equipment etc
- no smoking in vehicle
- keep it clean and tidy at all times
- ? probably more that I can't think of

Thanks

Mick

hi there

we have a vehicle section in the employment contract

daily checks, cleanliness, usage, accidents, parking etc.

does it work, ???  if you police it yes.

you may like to put a clause in about the vehicle coming back to you in the condition it was given to them in the first place, and then cost of repairs if they dont.

vehicles, are always an issue, it can be similar with the kit that they have in the back of them

unfortunately people will never look after something that isnt theirs, as well as you will look after it.

regards

martin
