Hi All,

Over the next couple of weeks I am in the process of re-naming my business, re-designing my logo and all associated paperwork ready for a local advertising campainge in the near future. What I would like to know from you guys is how do these 0800 numbers (or similar) work ? Are they a seperate line? Can they be redirected to your mobile/house phone etc and do you guys use them, and if so are they worth it. All replies welcome.

From what I believe it's the same line you already use, But has a different ring tone, so you can answer it accordingly. Then all calls are reversed.

you could get a LO-call number and they can be redirected to any phone you like, with some companies you can set a time for redirection

i.e

8 till 5 in the day to your mobile

rest of the time a landline (or answer phone)

HI IVE JUST GOT A 0800 NUMBER A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO.YOU CAN CHOOSE UR NUMBER OR LET THEM PICK YOU 1 BUT THE BETTER THE NUMBER THE MORE IT WILL COST YOU.I ALSO GET FREE MINUTES WITH THE NUMBER EACH MONTH AND HAVE IT TO MY MOBILE ALL THE TIME.WHEN THE PHONE RINGS YOU ANSWER AND THEN YOU HAVE TO PRESS THE HASH KEY ON UR PHONE TO ANSWER THE FREE PHONE NUMBER YOU ALSO HAVE A CALL/MSG ETC CALL LOG ON THE WEBSITE SO YOU CAN SEE IF YOU HAVE MISSED A CALL ETC.YOU CAN ALSO REDIRECTED THE CALL TO ANOTHER NUMBER IF I.E UR MOBILE IS BUSY IT WILL GO TO A DIFFERENT NUMBER YOU SELECTED.IVE FOUND IT GOOD WHEN IVE BEEN OUT CANVASING AND THERE SAY CAN YOU LEAVE A NUMBER TO GET BACK TO YOU AND THEN YOU TELL THEM ITS A FREE PHONE NUMBER ON THE BOTTOM OF THE BUSINESS CARD AND THERE DONT HAVE TO PAY AND MOST OF THE TIME YOU GET A CALL BACK COS NO1 LIKES PHONING MOBILES ETC.HOPE THATS HELPED YOU ABIT ANDREW
