  Need to upgrade my tank to 650l but at @ £200 is pretty expensive, currently
  I have a 250l tank so buying another 250l tank would be cheaper. Does anyone
  else use 2 tanks, how do you interact them?

  Why are tanks so expensive, is there only 1 manufacturer supplying all you
  suppliers. Couldn't you guys join together and force the price down as the
  manufacturer is making one huge mark up.

Hi, I use 2 175L tanks, I just connect a hose to each tank with a hoselock type connector on each hose and then use a brass Y connector to link the two tank hoses together, this Y connector also has a tap on each leg so that you can use either or both tanks at the same time.
Here's the pics of my setup, the 3rd pic down sorta shows the Y connector.

  Correct me if I'm wrong but often seen on threads on here that Brass
  connectors can effect the TDS of your water.

   Hoselock do a similar connector so maybe will try it.

I'm not sure, I know that copper can leech into pure water, but I couldn't tell you if brass does. You can get a plastic version of the Y piece from B&Q, so if you're concerned about it get a plastic one. I haven't found any probs with my setup, but then again, I have my di vessel as the last thing before the hose feeding the pole so if the brass Y piece is raising the tds I wouldnt know it.

£200 for a 650 ltr tank. You are jokeing that you think its too expensive.

Think about how much weight your carrying, The tank has to be strong to withstand all that internal force.

I think its cheap to buy.

Stop being a skinflint and upgrade to a 650ltr tank, rather then trying to save a few bob on a patch up job.

Pure water is slightly acidic. Copper will leach in to the water as will the components of brass, lead in particular. The small quantities in few fittings will not do any harm to windows. But if you can always use plastics.

  I've worked in the moulding industry, trust me the price of the tanks is high.

  It's surprising when you do a bit of digging what you uncover.
