does it make a difference to the quailty of finish using wfp on older windows? e.g. newer double glazed windows have a better finish then what single glazed older windows would have using wfp? thanks

The difference relating to the actual glass is none exisitent, however, its the frames that will make a difference.

If they are Powder Coated - LEAVE alone as they will streak or waste a lot of water scrubbing the framework off.
