HI EVERYONE
« on: August 06, 2006, 12:17:06 am »
Hi all, I haven't been around for a bit and I don't want everyone to think I'm just another idealist who had an idea and it fizzled out. I still plan to start a c/c business but my wife had to give birth 8 week early due to a sympton called pre eclampsia and my daughter Holly was born on the 31st of July at 4:44 a tad early wheighing in at a whopping 3lb 6oz :)

I'm busy splitting myself between been at home with my awesome son Jonah (3)and been at the hospital for my wife (who's had such a rough ordeal) and beautifull daughter Holly in the hospital. I'm also getting trying to get  the camper tip top shape for a summer sale and start my dream of being self employed so I'm as busy as I can be at the mo.

I still plan to sell the camper van and start my training but things will move a little slower than I planned, My daughter will be in special care for a while (probably due date which is 22nd of September), I still read the boards when I get the chance and absorb all the input you guys give(thanks) but it's hard to be around leeching you all for info all this time.

My daughter is doing fine and breathing independantley, She fighting it all the way and the dr's can't believe how well she's fighting everything thrown at her so Hopefully I'll be back up and running soon but my main priority is my family at the moment and all else has had to take the back seat I'm afraid.

I haven't dissaperated and WILL be back

Thanks to everyone who has given me wise words in the past and to the guys that have offered me a chance to get out with them, I will be in touch soon, as soon as poss.

I'd hate to be thought of as another fly by night who didn't put 100% in to this and failed miserably, I am giving this my all and I will continue to be, and I'm determined to be succesfull at this game for the good of me any my truly remarkable family unit!! ( I have to be as I told the staff on special care baby unit that anyone who cared for Holly can expect a free clean when I'm ready)

Hope you guys are all alright and doing well, I truly do, you give out free advice which can't be bought and I thank you all for that!

All the best guys,

Andy

p.s
We called her Holly as we started triyng for her in January thinking it may take a few months and she'd be born at christmas, but Jen got pregnant as soon as we started and was due in autumn, However as things turned out we had a precious little Holly in summer. Cool eh?

Andy

My eldest daughter was born in similar circumstances to Holly although she made the grand weight of 4lb when born in the October she spent the next few weeks in intensive care.
She grew up to be one of the two delightful daughters we have and my wife and I were babysitting her two children last night.

Best wishes

Hi Andy,

My son  Matthew was  2pounds 11 ounces  when he suddenly came into the world at 28 weeks.

I was away on a training course . How to improve your productivity, when I got the call to return home.

The next six months involved nightly vists to the special care unit.

So I wish you well

Hi Andy,
I wish you and your family well at this hectic, and concerning time.
I'm sure all will be well, and that you will be able to follow your self employed dream in due course.

ha ha, cheers calmore and cheers EVERYONE for you support.

Cheers Derek and Ian, I truly commend you both, You'll know what it's like trying to hold the fort at home and been their for two special people at the hospital, I'm glad they're both fine now, I really really am.

Holly is doing great and moved up one hell of a step from intensive care to incubator within a week and with unaided breathing, she's a feisty bugger and today I had the fantastic job of changing her nappy and a little cuddle after.

Thanks for everone that emailed and posted.

Mark my words, I'LL BE BACK SOON  ;D

You guys really do a good job (thanks) and I may have a buyer for the camper so I'm still on track.

Special care unit are absolutley brilliant, and as as I do a lot of running and other events for charity I'll be grafting to raise loads for York scbu ontop of training and starting up so a busy year ahead.

All is looking good folks.

Cheers

Andy
