Hi Brian
I have built websites for football clubs www.cowfoldfc.co.uk, so am prepared to build websites for any purpose. I run my own cleaning company "Cleantech" and just see this as a hobby hence the prices. I know how much these major companies charge having provided my cleaning services to a few web  design companies.I can't promise to be able to compete with the big boys but feel i can provide a professional looking site for somebody who wants to get on the first rung of the ladder. It gives me the experience i need in building them and i enjoy it coming from a design background. I hope this answers some of your questions.

Hi Brian
I design the site around your requirements ie colour schemes, photos, written content etc. So the answer to your question is Yes

Forgive me if I am speaking out of turn, but isn't this a cleaning forum?

I think it is great that the member is giving a great web design service to us all for an extremely reasonable rate, but there is another forum for that sort of thing isn't there.

I look on here for issues and latest news on cleaning issues and the web design thread seems to be top a lot of the time... not what I expect to see to be honest.

Like I say, if this IS what the forum is for, then so be it and I apologise.

Keep up the good work on the design stuff though...  :)

Hi Guys
Sorry for my website building post. It was never my intention to offend anyone but rather to provide a service to cleaners and people alike who required a reasonable website without paying through the roof. If anyone does require my services maybe they could contact me direct on info@cleantechcleaning.co.uk rather than post on this forum.
Many thanks
Karl

Andy foster,
It is my understanding that this forum is for the purpose of helping people in the cleaning industry including all aspects of running a small business, not just to tell people how to remove a coffee stain!

people post on many different subjects including contracts, employment law, quotes, health and safety and advertising (of which a web site is).
members on here have lots of different skills experiences and knowledge, your post  does nothing to assist people and discourages people to post, hardly constructive!

A suggestion for you would be that when you see a post "New website" which you appear to have no interest in, rather than reading through the 20 posts on the thread you exercise some self control and dont click on it.
A final note, not all posts interest me but i respect their rights to be on here!

regards
 steve

I think some people on this forum would be glad of someone to build a web site  for them .

Steve Doyle

The tone of your posting suggests that you did not read my post properly!

If you would like to re-read it, you will see that I was supporting the service of web design and thanked the person involved for the great service they are offering.

I was simply expressing that my understanding was that there is another place to advertise this sort of service than on the 'General Cleaning Issues' forum.
Another thing I stated was that if my understanding was incorrect, then I apologised in advance...

Maybe if you spent a little more time trying to understand someone elses point of view and less time composing scathing posts, you would not embarrass yourself next time.

A simple...  "That is one of the uses of this forum" would have sufficed!!!

Thank you for your understanding.

andy foster,
thanks for another pointless post, i wouldent call my post a scathing attack,
just a few facts which you choose not to respond to, as other people havee posted many are interested in the thread i put up, maybe you should get your facts right, i started this thread by inviting people to look at my web site which was built by a fellow member of this forum, i dont advertise a web service, where the thread goes is a result of peoples interest.
why you feel the need to censor what people can and cant say on it surprises me.
i will say it again you are not obliged to read every post and you certainly dont need to post wether you think it should or shouldent be here.
and yes i am embaressed, for you! i would hope your future posts may be of  more help to people.
regards
steve

Didn't mean to wind you up Steve.  Please ignore my posts, I apologise for any offence I may have caused anyone... I was just stating my point of view.
I assume I am allowed to do this.

life would be rather dull if we all had the same opinion,
and yes, you like everyone else are allowed to share yours with us by posting on here, which is  largely my point.
