Eco Friendly Carpet Cleaning list
« on: September 06, 2022, 08:24:42 pm »
Since we're all caring of our mother Earth's  situation, we're doing methods to make sure our carpet cleaning is Mother earth friendly  ;D
1. Vacuuming. While it can’t remove stains and spillages, hoovering is an effective way to remove dirt, dust, and other debris from your carpets and rugs. It’s also a relatively quick and easy way to clean them!
2. shampooing (using eco-friendly products)! Shampooing is a bit more time-consuming than vacuuming, but it’s still an effective way to clean your carpets. Most carpet shampoos that are wildlife friendly and sustainable will make a point of stating it on their packaging as a big selling point, so look out when you’re shopping. Once you’ve shampooed your carpet, you’ll need to let it dry completely before vacuuming it again.

3. steam cleaning. Steam cleaning is a more intensive way to clean your carpets but it’s also one of the most effective. It’s perfect for removing stubborn stains and deeply embedded dirt. Just be sure to use an eco-friendly steam cleaner so that you don’t damage your carpets or the environment.

4. Of course, we think the best solution to use is ours! Chem-Dry is a uniquely environmentally friendly solution because we use 80% less water than traditional steam cleaning, meaning a much quicker drying time of 1-2 hours. This not only helps the environment but also helps to prevent the growth of mould and mildew, which can be a common issue with excessively wet carpets.

Hi,

So first take care as people know how businesses use "Greenwashing Marketing".

1. Vacuuming you need to demonstrate and explain why your vac are eco-friendly compared to others. filters, power, etc. how this part of the clean is the most important as it removes most of the dirt.

2. Eco Products. you need to explain again. take a look at https://www.enviroseal.eu/ part of woolsafe

3. wool is the most eco-friendly carpet. check out #whywoolmatters on Instagram

the really great part about wool is stain prevention for this group as they know about all the bad news about stain protectors. you can also talk about "bioaccumulation" and how you dispose of the waste water after cleaning. plus offsetting your energy use. group you follow like https://www.instagram.com/campaignforwool/ as these people are politicly motivated and by promoting pressure groups like campaign for wool it will help. check out the reels on Instagram there is one on plastic in the sea which is great as lots of carpets are manmade fibers.

lastly is stain removal products lots of them are not very good because they are eco-friendly. you need to consider and explain you approach in this area. my advice is the old "act fast". get you customers to call you while they are still wet.

Good Luck

‘Eco friendly’ ???
Reminds me of the days when every one put the word turbo on their products to sell more.
Using eco friendly products means you have to be extremely careful how and where you dump your waste as they’re very good at contaminating water sources.
