if you have done all tests on upholstery and it ok to wet clean   how do you test for heat
do you just run it over the back and will it crincle or distort   instantly or a few minutes or 30 min

i have a magma heater i cant hold the tool without gloves when full on doing stairs   so would i turn it down to 70c  and not 110c

?

You should never go above 40 degrees on upholstery fabrics
Shaun is right....ALWAYS test a small area on the zip end of a cushion whilst doing your preclean survey
