Had a e/motor burn out on me in my raptor 400psi
took apart .looked absolutily knacked , sourced a new one , prices varied with the pump from around
£600 to £800
decided to let a local electric motor repairers have a look ,
complete rewind, new ceramic lining, rewiring, and new bearings £180 inc.
was assured , as good as a new motor ,
apparently they recon , a bearing was prob worn , maybe a small peice sheared causing havoc
,just goes to show if you notice any change in sound from your pump get it looked at right away,unlike me
who didnt really take much notice of the slight difference in noise.
