No my key was not in the van.
i was either pick pocketed or it fell out my pocket when pulling reel out with pole.
i believe i was targeted. i have van key seperate from my car and house bunch which were in my jacket pocket which was in the van.
im not overly bothered about van or car being stollen as insured..its the gear in the back which wasnt insured!!
Im up and running again and not letting it get me down.
just if anyone gets offered any gear cheap think of me before you buy it as prob mine.

What the hell I can't believe we tend to see these posts occasionally from time to time and we just don't believe it will happen to us I tell you something today I had the keys in the ignition while I go out of the van to do a few bits went back to see a customer
I think this is just reminding me now that we all have to be super careful I'm sorry to hear your cars have been stolen that's absolutely poop and it's really bad to lose all your equipment bloody hell absolutely we must keep our eyes open
I actually logged on to post I spent £700 on Gardiner poles yesterday from gardiners and I felt happy but obviously seen your post has made me think twice so I decided not to Jesus Christ sounds like a total nightmare I just can't believe people are hanging around window cleaners wanting to steal their vans I mean what the hell can you do with a stolen van anyway you register it stolen where do you sell it what do you do they also stole your BMW bloody hell
Did you call the police and tell them to go to your house quickly I'm guessing your phone was stolen as well

I feel for Mick but I wouldn't let it put me off buying a pole Crystal. My gear is all insured with Alexander Swan as long as my vans are locked which they always are.

Yer no what I meant was the other day I decided to get a 35 n 18 slx treat my self rather then a new 25 obviously saving weight per job but paid alot for the luxury as 25 will do 95% and my old 32f 12 year old thing did the last 5%
Was going make a big song n dance with it's own post then I read this....... hope it wasn't all new n expensive gardiner stuff mate shocking who thinks these r opportunists or who thinks they're targeting..
