I spent a day a the Royal Cornwall show, weekend just passed and stopped by a stall selling Alpaca Lama rugs, these were the softest rugs ive ever seen and a bit on the pricy side at £650 for a 1.75 x 2m rug, but these were hide so did not shed any wool which expained the price but were excelent quality.
But when I approched the sales man and asked how you would recomend cleaning it he replied "it will never need to be cleaned as the oil content is high so self cleaning with a good vac as they dont shed, but when i described my position and I could not believe it would never need a clean he was adamant that this was the case even in the most dirty of situation
Has any one come accross one yet, I dont need to clean one just interested in peoples veiws as Alpaca wool is deemed to be the best of quality
