ultra professional today
« on: August 10, 2017, 03:13:07 pm »
I was cleaning the home gym of a customer today where both mother and daughter were working out , I just concentrated on cleaning the full length windows, well nearly all the time, I did manage to keep my eyes from being out on stalks and not to slobber on the glass.

anyone else been ultra professional in that situation

You surely need to be sure you can see through the glass.  I think it's best to thoroughly check one's work.  ;D

Which pole were you using?
And slobbering on the glass is extra!

I never notice what's going on in peoples houses.
Iv built up a tunnel vision of sorts where I don't look beyond the glass I'm cleaning.
People think I'm being rude when their waving at me and I don't wave back but I just don't notice them, unless they put their face right up to the glass.
Though something did catch my eye whilst putting my receipt through a door today, a big PRYORS window cleaning leaflet sat on the floor of the porch. Didn't know they came up as far as Farnborough. There's no escaping the MODDED.
(There you go Granville, I sensored my own foul mouth, saves you 5 mins) ;D

I have a regular job where I clean a beauty spa. I have to ask at the front desk whether it's OK to clean the side windows - just in case they are doing a full body massage (or similar). It wouldn't be too relaxing for their client if they knew the windows were being cleaned at the same time!

I clean the outside and inside of a proper keep fit gym on the first Thursday of every month. I really look forwards to it.

Some of those young ladies when they are on the treadmill dressed in tight fitting lycra. Jeeeez.
Just chant..... Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. It's beats chanting Tory Tory or Labour Labour.

I guarantee they couldn't give a modded if you dont wave back. You're only the window cleaner.

I suppose we're viewed as the scum of the earth so we're not expected to have any form of mannerism.
Phew, I can sleep better at night now, knowing my customers don't view me as an ignorant pig.
