ive put a wooden board down at the back of my tank and covered it in the same black plastic sheeting.its fine as it is.i then screwed my reel to it on one side and i have my pumpbox on the other.

nice and simple set up adam. :)

so have you sacked off the carpet cleaning and pressure washing and mainly concentrating on the window cleaning mate?

Much better than the last set-up.

You'll have an easier day now!

Nice one ! .......... Why spend more than you need to ? it won't earn you more.
May be wrong but can't see anything securing that reel or battery  ???

Not totally sacked it off and there is still space to fit the gear on as and when I need it. But at the moment I'm not pushing it and just trying to buid the windows.

I don't want all the gear on there like before, just want a minimum of gear to do the job and the rest of my stuff can stay in the shed to be used when needed.

I'm finding it much more enjoyable to just do windows without the hassle of humping stuff in and out.

You are not wrong.

The reel isn't secured yet as I'm hoping to fit some under van rollers on Sunday so will secure it after. Battery is screwed down you can't see it.

What was wrong with the old van , apart from being full of rusty old tools and wiring hazards  ;D

Windows didn't go down on it. Spent a grand on it in Jan for recon box and clutch.
It was smoking on startup,  kept going into limp mode and the turbo was on the way out as was leaking oil. Only had one key and it was wearing out as had to wiggle it to start it. It had 2 weeks m.o.t left and was a ticking time bomb.  Glad I got rid, much happier with the newer van.

Will be interested to hear how you get on with the Peugeot Partner - I believe they do a 3 seat version which I may look into as my next van when I replace my Vauxhall Combo. Is it the 850kg version that you have? Also what size tank have you installed?

I think it's the newest ones that have 3 seat option.

Yes 850 version with a 500 tank.
