Hi m8. Can u tell me more about how your tank was fitted to your connect through eyelet holes. Presumably u had a large plate to span the distance between frame and back eyelet holes.

its basically angle iron bolted through the eyelets and then bolted through each of the 4 corners of my pure freedom tank frame.

email sent mate.no i didnt protectocote the floor as the new van came with plastic load liner.my local garage charged me £80 to fit my tank and frame.

My only worry is water getting under plastic bezels at side and getting through to lower floor and getting through I'll head and into cab ( as slash has experienced)

yep ive got that.ive overfilled my tank a few times and the water is under the floor covering in the footwell!(as theres a flap with the chassis number in the drivers footwell)ive got a wet and dry vac and hoovered most of the water up but some still remains.annoying but i reckon ill have to learn to live with it. ::)roll

Did you not fit cut off valve and an overflow ?

im getting it speedlined with 6 inched of the bulkhead getting filled and speedlined too , hopefully it'll stop any flow into cab , pricey though!! Got a local mechanic to fit it as well , didnt ask him how much , hell charge by the hour , hes good though and honest so fingers crossed it wont be anywhere near the £600 quoted elsewhere!
