If you get one from Plasticwatertanks I would get a flat tank and by flat I mean about 18" high from front to back of the van,it will enable you to keep nearly all your van for storing other stuff. If you stick a sheet of ply over the top you'll never know it's there,it won't need bolting or strapping it it's measured correctly it can sit between the wheel arches and they act as anchors.

Am not a flat tank man but that would be a good idea if u need the space

Would it be possible to have the guys building ur tank mould it to fit perfect into ur van, by this I mean with the trafic van tank against the bulk head at the top gives a foot of space at the bottom.

At 270 that's not a bad price at all

Kev , It was made by Aqueous PF but from what I have read on here I'm not sure if he's still making tanks for window cleaners.
Its sectionally baffled with a filler screw cap and two outlets - 1 x 1/2" to pump and reel, and 1 x 1" for gravity feed hose to fill up backpack quickly.

By the sounds of things I got in quick and at a very good price  ;)
From the price Lee suggests for a 600 L tank now then your guys £700 inc. fitting doesn't sound too bad especially if your tank is going to be bolted down  ? and all included in price .

I was about £600 for my 687l lay (very) flat tank but it would have been much cheaper if I wasn't so awkward.

Yes and that's the great thing about a custom tank - you can have whatever you want.
Just bear in mind that the more complex the shape, the more work, time and materials and hence a higher price.
