website tweaked
« on: January 26, 2017, 03:12:18 pm »
So due to illness etc ive had some time off work and caught up on paperwork, tidied van, ordered some spares, playing about heating water in tank and now just tweaked my website as my new signs are on the van ready to promote whilst working next week.
Ive cut out alot of waffle i think, but ill soon find out........what do u reckon to it, any pointers or will it be ok. Its just for residential not aiming at commercial at all.

need better quality pictures (resolution) also you have a paragraph saying no ladders resting on tiles etc, yet the picture above shows you cleaning exactly like that i would dump that one as well.
Also payment options to much waffle just bullet point the payment methods you accept (just my opinion mind)
personally i would have a separate page for each service you provide not all on 1 page where you have to keep scrolling down.

Good point, deffo drop that picture - not the sort of image you will want to portray .
Other than that I quite like your website  :)

Cheers for the feedback.
However the photo in question shows ladders resting on tiles and someone footing ladder and the photo that should be directly below shows wfp. Showing the before and after as in, no ladders being used to get those windows.
Does it not portray that? My samsung smart phone and laptop both show the picture as i intended. What source are you using as i may need to address this

imo it is confusing (for a customer) is that you at work or is that just showing someone how you dont work also the pictures are small and stretched and not very clear (22 inch screen using chrome). You have already bullet pointed underneath  what you dont do, dont see the need to show a picture. All the other pictures are of your good work you do yet there is one there that is completely the opposite to what you do.

OK,  I've addressed the waffle on the payment option.  Amended the photo people thought would cause confusion and slightly changed some text elsewhere .
I will change the poor photos another day when i remember to retake some photos when im on the job, but apart from that, how does it now look?
cheers for further feedback

Get someone to give it a good read as it has loads of grammatical errors. Ideally you want someone who has never seen it before.
