Advice on interior window cleaning please
« on: June 26, 2016, 10:08:58 pm »
Hi,
Don't usually do insides but have been asked by a big customer as a one off.  Do you use pure or tap water? If tap is it better hot or cold?  I have squeegee s etc.
Cheers

Tap and HG window cleaner, hot wont make much difference other than its more comfortable to work with,
just be careful not to get dirty water on paintwork by either collecting your squeegee runoff with your mop as you blade or putting a protective cloth over vulnerable areas.

Its a window cleaning solution, you can buy it in B+Q or Homebase for a few quid, I haven't found anything better for
interior cleaning as its easy worked with.

When i did trad work found a mix of gg3 (think thats whats it was called) and a little squeeze of squirty worked well. Mop n squeegee, mop catching drips underneath like above comment mentioned.
There are other ways but i found old school to be the best.

I clean interior windows exactly as SeanK describes above, just don't put to much HG window cleaner in the bucket, to avoid
 excessive suds.
