We are also getting further and further behind due to the weather. It hasn't been good on Teesside this year. We have worked 2 1/2 days this week and had a few moaning customers about cleaning when the weather isn't good today.

We got out one day last week and I did a commercial clean on Saturday morning before it started raining.

Hi Billy. Weather here is very interesting. It can be warm and sunny in Middlesbrough and terrible in Saltburn where we live. The weather can be just ok in Saltburn but uncomfortable to work in in Skelton just a few miles inland. It all depends on the tide and the wind.

I also hate working in the wet. I can't see through my glasses, the pole is wet, the pole hose gets full of grit and I'm more aware as I get older that a slip or fall can mean a long recovery time.

We have suffered with heavy winds this year. It only just recently that the rain has become a factor - its been wind in our area. Even our customers who complain if we are late have agreed with us that the weather hasn't been conducive to window cleaning.
