I can't get my head around the fact that some people can't see or don't care what will happen when you spray paint, wood preserver or timber oil around in a garden. I've seen this a number of times with customers and have experienced it three times myself with neighbours. On the first occasion I had to 'T Cut' one entire side of my car after someone did a touch up job on their's on a windy day. I never did discover who it was. On another occasion, my mother in law almost had her year old patio door frames destroyed by her neighbour spraying his fence with Cuprinol, which is like re-branded creosote. It was tough enough to get off the glass and near impossible to get off the frames by the time we discovered it. He managed to get a window fitter friend to come round with some sort of solvent that removed it. They are white again but the nice finish has gone so they now look smeary even when you've cleaned and buffed them.
