got any pictures of your immersion  set up  please
thanks Richard

Here's the only pics I've got from when I first got it.

The tanks basically insulated and wrapped in another tank, so it hardly loses any heat.

Then it has an immersion thread fitted into the side so I can take the immersion out if needed and put a blanking plate on.

Then I've just wired up a caravan type plug on the side of the tank, and connect that to artic cable leading to my garage.

I run a 2kw immersion so it runs fine on normal sockets in my garage. (Although I have got a seperate dedicated socket for it.

Ideally I'm going to upgrade to 3kw and get a sparky in to set it up for me. Needs to be on a seperate ring of 16amp back to the fuse box.

It's hassle free easy hot water.

Water drops about 1 degree c through out the days.

Even with a 3kw heater it will only cost me £3.50 a day to have hot water (about 50 degrees) all day.

Half of the so-called H /S laws don`t really exist . But by waking up insurance companies  to the fact make it  another expense we need to fork out for.  Most of the H/s laws are invented on this forum. Every time, year after year a new flush of cleaner come along  I read more and more so- called H/S laws appear invented by the older fellas to make this very basic service seem involved and make us think we are some sort of buffs on the subject.
