Hi josh.
Have you done any trad cleaning yet or are you looking to start up?
Asking out of curiosity and are you a young chap or an older gent?
I ask for if your starting up, I would practice the art of blading windows first on friends houses untill yoh are comfortable and able to clean effectively n quickly. If a yohng chap, then I wud strongly recommend box or D frame ladders. Because as ones stated on your ladder thread, using a pole with trad methods can be tricky and slow and thats for ones who have trad for some time. As alot is in the technique, good equipment helps, but without a good technique its worthless.
Im not saying this to put you off mate, I would just recommend some good trad equipment and not cheap bnq or local diy store. And if not done so already, master a technique and then try to duplicate this via a cheap extension pole for ur own windows. See if you can easily do so and a good job. See if its worth investing in a trad extension pole or prefer to stick to ladders.
Again as previous post have said, wind etc can sometimes cause a problem. But good common sense will see you thru.
All the best bud

http://www.thecleaningwarehouse.co.uk/teleplus-125m-sections-poles---various-sizes-918-p.asp

These Unger Teleplus poles have served us well over the years. We started using them as wfp poles with Vikan brushes.

They still get used from time to time.  They are most busy once very 3 months where they get used to soap up some internal windows at 30'  and another to blade them off.

This works well;

Its the 0 degree unit.

We swap the T Bar for a Fixi clamp to detail.

The Unger adapter cone works for all Unger tools.

I agree with other posters.  Using traditional methods with a long pole with feet firmly on the ground isn't easy to master.
