help on split relay

sorry for sounding thick.i currently use a van mount with a leisure battery that I charge every couple of days.if I was to buy a split relay charger do I link it to the leisure battery or the van battery.many thanks.
i promise never to cross over to the dark side of the road again.Dont believe the truth.

get a decent split relay, i bought a durite intelligent relay off this guy on ebay, really good kit and ive never had to charge my leisure battery since fitting!!
