Can you polish exterior concrete or does it make it a slip hazzard. Can you add anti slip and would that last.
Thanks in advance.......

You can polish both interior and exterior concrete!  To be absolutely honest if you have a Klindex Levighetor you can grind and polish anything, including Tarmac :D.  Slip hazards are a whole different ball game!  Slip coefficient  varies dramatically based on 3 different factors, the surface, footwear and weather conditions.  Finally yes you could add something like Miracle 511 Anti Slip and yes it will improve the slip coefficient but dependant  on the severity of  traffic it would need to be periodically reapplied

Great move I hope you enjoy it ;D  Correct training by Experienced Instructors  in natural stone grinding, restoration, repair, polishing and sealing is really important.  Moreover this is much more relevant with concrete as it presents a lot more problems than most Natural Stone and therefore unless you have the correct equipment and experience causes deeper issues that are not apparent until you really get into it and by then it is usually too late.  We have just arranged an advanced course in a few weeks for our Klindex Customers  for this very reason.

Just seen the new pads from KGS last week on concrete, have to say the results are spectacular and a great area to get involved with as the guy who was demonstrating them told me how much he was earning from them, the same guy can't cope with all the work coming his way.

We will see how they fare against others when I trial them!  Still waiting to see the so called  "Miracle Pads".  Hopefully they will be better than their last offering because those furzon things or whatever they called them they produced were rubbish!

Steve Riley at Stoneworks in Northumberland is running this. The current one is full, however he is planning another in the New Year. Anyone interested please contact us and we'll put you on the list.
