I can't remember who recommended this pump to me but can i attach a petrol type nozzle to the end of the transfer hose so i don't have to run back and switch the pump off?
im ordering a whole bunch of bits today to build my insulated shed/water store
any help, links and recommendations welcome

No idea but a simple solution is to buy a wifi remote like this sort of thing to turn the pump on/off whilst fast filling the van either with a petrol type trigger or not from the likes of maplins etc.

They are handy to turn the power on/off whilst using a guttervac too as nothing worse than large bits of crap blocking the entrance to the nozzle and you have to keep bringing the guttervac pole down to switch the bloody thing off if working on your own

Surely just a lever valve is the simple solution?
That's what I use

Does it turn the pump off though to save walking back to turn it off as that was being asked?
Hence why I mentioned the cheap wifi remote plug option when using a large diameter fast fill hose & petrol station type trigger nozzle.
With a fast fill transfer setup it can fill a tank in just a few mins whilst stood there unlike unlike using 1/2 inch hose which takes much longer. To save standing about then yes in that case a ballcock in the tank will cut the water off but still not the pump.
