Did anyone get an s plus channel freebe if so what do you think?

Nope, I haven't. I have however, made my own superb non detailing Unger Channel from the normal S channel. Did the insides of a massive house yesterday with no detailing whatsoever.

Got 2 and feel I got conned tbh,1 of the channels I got was clearly done by hand and over bent on one end leaving it unusable just like the liquidator out of the box,they both needed adjusting in order to work. They are literally just bent over with pliers,I thought they would be machined to a presise angle or idiot proof but clearly they are nothing different to something I have done myself already.

The freebe one I got yesterday I've not tried yet but looks ok dog ear wise as both are formed evenly.
It also looks like the dog ear part is included in the tooling so seems an automated procces to me,

In no way is it set up on a machine to be dog eared,all 4 ends on the 2 channels were not even you can see they have just been bent with pliers. The ends are abrasive  with the S emblem on them so it's harder to see the marks pliers or the like have left,I've dog eared channels better myself than the ones I received.

After closer inspection this morning the ends are not bent even as one dog ear is longer than the other so one end has more of an angle than  the other. Therefore unger defo needs to sort out their quality control.

 I also bought a couple of Unger S Plus channels a couple of weeks ago, and found the dogearing was not even on both ends,
they are definitely  not precision machine made, used them on the glass and they left a fine water trace behind which i had to go over a second time every time to make good.

A joke from such a huge company in this industry,tbh it's a con like I said before all they have done is what we've all tried doing. There should be a measured correct angle which it needs to be to work perfectly everytime as soon as you use it from new,to do this they need a perfect prototype in which it can be machined. At the moment they are fooling everyone,or nearly everyone.
