Hi All

I use Alltec's odour clear in the solution tank at the moment, looking to try other products so can anyone recommend anything to me.

Cheers

Neil

I actually use it in a hand spray at the end of the job, and shoot a few shots into the air. Everyone says what is that lovely smell.

Never used it in my solution tank, rightly or wrongly...

Hi Neil,

I used to put deodoriser in the tank but found it wasn't cost effective as the ammount you have to put into the tank to have any benefit. I use prochems lemon refresh now with a trigger sprayer, just spray into the air after cleaning.

Kind regards,
Jason.

Although it helps to give the impression of cleaner fresher carpets, I wonder how long the benefits of odour products last.

If you put it in the tank a certain amount must be absorbed into the carpet Fibres , but then you suck it out again.

If you spray it on trigger spray you only use say 500ml mixed  max.

The other question is how sticky is this stuff.

I'm using   the Chemspec one at present Citrus  Its called odour ................

Prior to that Prochem, I buy according to where I am when I need supplies

I did a smoke filled betting shop certainly killed the odour, but when I went back the next day, the smokers had been in and although not so strong  the cig smell was back.

Perhaps I should sell them a twice daily boast.

i think your right ian, the smell does not last long, and you would need to put alot in to truly deoderise, very rare i use it, i just put it in my waste tank to stop the sewer smell in customers houses, which can be embarrssing, i think what jason said best way to use, few squrits in the air at end of job, just to enhance c/c experence for custy ;D
