SLX POLE + extensions
« on: April 12, 2015, 07:47:49 pm »
Would it be better getting a slx25  then adding extensions as and when needed,    or just be done and get an SLX 30  and an extension when got extra money.   just so i have a pole for all high work coming in.

most are sugesting supreme soft hybrid brush for  all day to day work.     i have superlite dual trims brushes from  clx poles.

I use an  1 extension. If £ isn't an issue. Buy the size you need. Much less messing about

I've got a 22' with extension to 27' then an extreme.
My brother has a 30' and strips in down to 18' (I think) for most of his work.

I prefer to see the printing on the length I use most.

IMO if your poling all day every day 5 or 6 days a week you need more than one pole ,example:

main day to day pole(25 ft)to be able to reach awkward windows and 3 storey as well as run of the mill work

high level pole for solar panels, large domestic/commercial jobs, velux windows etc

emergency back up pole

extreme 25
extreme 47
SLX 22

buy the lightest, most rigid poles you can afford to cut down strain as poling all day does hammer the neck, shoulders and elbows.

the SLX poles are almost industry standard for work up to 30 ft these days.you cant beat the extremes though for an easier working day and for work over 30 ft they are superb.
price higher/work harder!

are the new supreme brushes any different than the superlite dual trim standard brush,
many now reckon the supreme soft hybrid for better workmanship.
ill check price difference on SLX / EXTREME.

its no point waiting for any sales. ::)roll :'(

yeah they are lighter and bigger splay.cracking brushes.the flocked and  soft hybrid versions are my favourite.
