Do anyone of you pay canvassers to go out and drum up business and if so how do you structure payment, do you pay so much a day or a percentage of jobs booked in etc?

i do mine myself on weekends, but i know people who pay 10% upfront and double in total of the ammount of work canvassed. so £1000 would be £100 deposit upfront and  £1900 when handed over, hope that helps
