there's not much difference.  the clamps are different but that's about all.

ive had both poles side by side and what I found was this

both poles felt good in hand

both were around the same weight never mine what they say , when there in your hands there not far off

the bend of the poles were not that different if you want to be picky there about a 1.5. inch more bend on a right angle on the phoenix again not worth borthring about

so why did I buy a new slx last week  ???????

because I know it will last my hubby 14 months and the phoenix is not cheap enough to take a gamble on as there not a lot in it when you get them both ready i

we treat our poles badly  , throw them on the floor , never clean them , drop them ,  even had them frozen to the van for a week , never reprair them just tape them up none of this glue stuff , and guess what the slx keeps going and going and going

this is why ill keep buying the slx because its tried and tested and works well ive get to see a phoenix take the battering we give ours and live to tell the tail ill post some pics up later on how battered our slx is and it still doing 20 job aday ! and its knacked

I have both. SLX 22, Phoenix X 22... The SLX is definitely more rigid.
The Phoenix is slightly less circumference and comfortable in the hands. Clamps are nice but Gardiners seem more robust.
Weight's the same, as Susan says.
The phoenix lightweight brush is a good brush.

Personally I prefer the SLX because it's less bendy and feels stronger.

Oh, and the fact that there is no stop on the sections  of the Phoenix is really annoying and slows you down some

Susan has given a good honest review here, it seems there was some problem with the delivery company with the phoenix pole, the girl I spoke to at wcw about 5 o clock last night was really helpful and considerate, she said she would get on to it at 9 o clock in the morning.... 9.10 this morning I had a text saying when the pole was getting delivered.

I have to say that was great service by that member of staff from the window cleaning warehouse

gardiners delivery was opened today, I noticed that It was packed by one member of staff and checked by another, I thought this was great efficient service as well
