Hi

has anybody thought about actually going on a risk assessment course

You would use the certificate for marketing within your company even if you was sole trader

I do not what would happen if there was a HSE reportable accident and you at to say by law that you got the risk assessment off a person on a forum

Also is the person who gave you the risk assessment  covered by their own insurance for this

You don't need to be qualified in anything to write out a RAMS.

You need to be competent. That someone with skills, training and technical knowledge. Nothing else.

Get on there fast payment scheme if you can. It's a software app. Doesn't work for iPhone tho :( it's android etc.

Payments are made at the end of the following month. So if you put a bill in 1st jan. You get paid end of feb.

Communications are good. They are hot on RAMS. Make sure they FWD on Rams and Cert's to the company you are working for.

Shop fronts won't need Rams lol.

Mixture tbh, next week we are doing some offices. Good earner.

Just seen you are in Stevenage :) all our work is bedford based really.

Probably one of our old ones  8)

We try to keep them very simple - as NOBODY ever reads them - they just keep them on file!

Greg avenue pay peanuts , although nice people to work for and good payers, they keep asking me to clean a bank or building society which could be 20 miles away and them dictate the price which is usually £4 to £10, it all gets turned down politely.

What a load of crap. We had an hour induction on site with our printed RAMS in the safety officers hands.

WL

I do understand your reply but

Definition of competent changes when some one just gets a risk assessment  of the internet

We all go on about professional qualifications for window cleaners

It must be better to show you have been on a risk assessment course with certificate to your new or old clients

Only my opinion
