Well I think we must have made a new record!
In restoration we are used to people taking their time and thinking about our quotes. This is because unlike other trades we very often offer several alternative quotes / options from a basic clean and polish up to a full grind and restore. So it is normal for us to wait for up to 1-3 months for a go ahead. In the past some clients have taken 6 months and last year we had one who had waited almost a year. However, this weekend I get an e mail from a client asking us to proceed with Option 2 on our quote. He has specified he would like it doing in the next 10-12 Weeks if possible.
The weird part is I quoted them with 3 different options to restore their floor on 26th May 2011
That is 3 years and almost 8 months ago!!!!!!!
