I use George ... have done for 5 years ... looked at CP but for me at the moment no need to move to it as George does everything I need ... prefer a printed worksheet anyway ... maybe im old fashioned ?

If I had multiple vans with staff then yes would defo make the move as would save a lot of time admin wise

I still use printed worksheets.
Always have. Probably always will.

I considered CP, It's seems a comprehensive program with some great features

I decided to stay with Aworka as I supply the software to my franchisees, I couldn't justify the additional cost when running multiple rounds

For the guys that employ I can see the benefits of CP,
Being a franchise based business, We only use the software for its reports so will stay with Aworka for the foreseable future

Franchisors using CP, what key features made you to change from Aworka?

Just to clarify, printed worksheets are still a great option with Cleaner Planner (we have two different layouts - detailed and compact) and one that a good few people prefer (both sole traders and employers). Advantage with Cleaner Planner over some other software is that you can assign worksheets to employees (users) even if they don't use the app, so you can easily track per-employee turnover.

Firefly - ability to change due dates from the mobile app has been requested a few times now so certainly something I'm considering :) Please could you drop me a quick email so I know who you are and we can discuss your needs further rob@cleanerplanner.com. I'm working on an update to the mobile app (to be released end of Jan) which will include the ability to add customers and jobs via the app (in the current position within the round you're working - no need to reorder later) and an expenses tab. I may just squeeze in a change due date option while I'm there.

Steve - please could you drop me a quick email? I'd be keen to find out a bit more about how you use Aworka for your franchise and what extra features you're looking for.

Looking forward to that update! I tend to pickup work most days, this feature would save time at end of the day!

i used george for 5 years and its a good cheap program but i switched over to cleaner planner nearly 2 months ago now for a few reasons.

the mobile app    my palm pda was playing up and i didnt want to go back to printing worksheets/debtlists out again.

email invoices    dead easy to do with CP once rob sets it up for you

drag and drop    great for juggling jobs about on the planner

no worries if your PC/phone dies    CP can be accessed from any PC/mobile phone quickly and easily.

no worries if you forget to back up your work    rob backs up your work hourly and to 3 different servers

web based program    so updates can be instant without having to check whether you have the latest version

customizable invoices   you can add your logo and write notes on invoices.brilliant IMO

text night before direct from mobile worksheets   love this.saves time.

ive got the basic package at £15 a month.i think its well worth it and robs customer support is fantastic.

Dazmond, I've looked at the pricing on the Cleaner Planner site and the texting facility seems only available for the £25 per month option.  Have I missed something?

Cheers, Tom

you can still text customers from your mobile app worksheet if you have their phone number typed into your customers details.it costs me nothing as i get texts free with my monthly data/mins/calls allowance.
