I bought a Nissan Primastar that is an ex fridge van, its fully fibre glassed inside and insulated, with a built in drain hole. Its amazing as cleaning it out is a swizz and never any worries about the tank leaking also keeps lovely and warm with just a little fan heater in the winter, If I decided to get a propane water heater I probably wouldn't need to worry about carbon monoxide problems as there is no way it could leak into the cabin. Best thing I ever did!

Lee,

I've often thought about using an ex fridge van as a WFP van...

Are you able to drill through the floor ok to secure a tank and frame?

this looks like a good buy, with air con and twin sliding doors, low mileage

Way overpriced!

I wouldnt say so, for 3300 it looks like a good buy and you could knock them down and get it closer to 3k,

Lee.

Hi Andy,
I haven't drilled through my floor but drilled through the bulkhead, I'm definite it could be done. Not sure how it would effect the integrity of the load though. I love it I never need to worry about over spills or hose leaks which are inevitable. No smell of fish either which is a real bonus  ;D

It's 4k with VAT. It's a Fiat Doblo coming up to 7 years old with 77k on the clock. I paid less than that for a mint 60 plate dispatch with 68k on & ready to go with roof bars, ply lining to boot!!

I sold my Doblo 1.3SX in October. 56 plate/39K/new MOT. £2500 (no vat to add) to DtM. With 200L +  pump and reel. He sold the tank for £60 and got a 400L for £50.

I reckon I did him a bit of a favour and would have hoped for £2800 elsewhere. He knows the van's history.
It's a game of three halves!
