Hello all,
I just wanted to see what other people do or if anyone has any advice re pricing on your websites? Do you favour this or think its not a good practice?
I am in two minds and of late hearing more people say do not put prices on, have a "prices from"
Just after some opinions, as it seems some people think its good and others think its not so good.
Will I am hear, I am new to the window cleaning role and I have my pricing plan but I keep coming up against other window cleaners doing three and four bedroom houses for £6 - I kinda think how can you compete with this, I usually price a aveage 3 bedroom house at £10.
Does anyone else have people really under cutting an area? £6 for a house that has 9-11 windows to me is just silly.
Cheers
Personally I would not put prices on my website; as you're just starting out you need to be FLEXIBLE with your prices to get some work in. Unless your prices are really cheap (and that's not the way to go either).
Don't worry about other window cleaners! Completely ignore them! Focus on what you do!
Get your prices about right, do a top job, be professional, polite and friendly.
Sell yourself (regular, reliable etc)...do a top job, glass, sills, frames, front door, back door every time. Finish the ground floor sills with a wipe over with a cloth.
Where in Essex are you? Pick some nice areas (not too expensive, not too cheap) and go knocking on doors and dropping leaflets.
