Only way they will spend money is by boycotting the site.

it would help if idiots didn't bump 2001 threads for no reason at all other than to TRY and be funny.

They could also delete some of these older threads that are completely useless.

Any noob who asks a question that has been asked a thousands times, should have the thread locked and told to use their brain and search.

What if the answer is in a 2002 thread and they ask a question on that thread? And how will any of this speed up the site? And how many people will not bother posting again if they ask a question and find their thread locked?  ::)roll

He's right. Locking threads would put people off posting. This place is here to help, not just for the old sweats.

Also, ban Hector, that would speed the site up.

No some of the 2000 odd threads are bumped just for fun it's seems.

Deleting old threads would speed up searches etc.

Thread locking could work if this site has a proper DIY section and FAQ section.

Much the same way as someone repeatedly asking others to sign to GC with the same link to save them £50.
