Same but I think next year I am going to pay to get 20 000 out.  10 000 at a time.  I got a deliverer who does them for £20 per 1000.

5,000 printed and delivered (to areas of my choice) for £260.
They go out with about 5 other leaflets through the door at a time.
That cost also includes design but I design them myself and just send them the artwork.
I think their price for just delivery is £28 per thousand. (But again that's areas of my choosing).
Always had good results from them.

If they are going out solus (on their own) then the mathematics says it can't be done.

My guy does 120 houses an hour overall.  Sometimes it's 80, sometimes 160, but his overall average is 120.  So that's 8h 20m to deliver 1,000.  At £20, your leafletter would be getting £2.40 an hour.

If they are being delivered other leaflets it might work.  However, your response rate will also be lower.

Vin.

If i was going to have leaflets delivered id defo not get them delivered with 5 other differend leaflets as well. You want the. To take note of your leaflet so idealy dropped on a sunday afternoon when nothing else gets delivered and When they are in a laid back mood andhave time on there hands to call you??.
Maybe im wrong but if i had 5 learlets through the door they would all go in bin but if i got 1 through id prob have a quick browse through.
Fair play though you said you get results from them doing it that way.

^^This^^

Sunday always yields best results. They hear it pop through the door and make a special journey to pick up your leaflet. Dropping them in the week means they get picked up with the days post when arriving home fron work and likely only glanced at.
Where am I knocking today?

James, the company only covers the Bournemouth and Poole area, so probably no good to you.
Mick, I agree, going out with 5 other leaflets is not ideal, but I do get good results every time: averaging 5 enquiries per thousand. I still like my canvassing too  ;)
