How many custards have you got on to GC so far?

33 here over a period of about 5 weeks.

ive got ten so far not had as many takers yet as i thought but early days as lads who were running my business before were trying to get cash off most people as he kept it from taxman ::)roll ::)roll

How do you get customers onto it Darren? I've got a few bad payers onto it, but other do not seem overly keen.

Hi Lee,

We just pitch it as "the norm" a simple free hassle way to pay, most people pay lots of bills online so this makes it easier. We state that we DO NOT go back and collect money so although you can leave cheque etc, most of our customers prefer to pay this way and we get a good pick up rate. We also stress we only ever take payment AFTER a clean is completed.

Only got 25 custys on it currently , New custys only get taken on if they sign up to GoCardless and in the next few months it will be the only payment option .

Other than the custys who have always paid promptly via bacs it is the only way forward and on my website i am trying to ensure custys feel happy signing up take a look opinions please www.mmwindowcleaning.co.uk/pay-your-bill.html

Website is good and I like the payment page, it's reassuring and trustworthy looking.

Thanks Darran & Alan , Thinking of changing the odd thing on payment page their is plenty of stuff which can be lifted off GoCardless .

please correct me im wrong but is there still a problem recognising who is paying you as in they cant put 1st line of address as reference .... this is why I haven't bothered with it yet but love the idea of it

As you get their email address when they sign up via GoCardless , I just email them if needed but I get custys full name etc so it's pretty simple .

If I do get a customer sign up and I'm not sure who it is I just email them asking them to confirm their postal address.
