how would you set up a submersible pump in a ibc tank  ? use to use a wfp pump but it broke   .  any help would be great thanks

Most sub pumps require a larger hole to drop into the tank then the pipe feeds back out the top, I have the float valve tied up just to make sure it doesn't cut off early.

If LPM is not a priority you can buy marine sub/bilge pumps that are quite small and fit in through the lid but the flow rate is a lot slower

Thanks for the help Darran , would  I need to get a new tank if I wanted a submersible pump ? Think I will go with the bilge pump

I just cut a flap out with a Stanley knife, dropped the pump in and gaffer taped the flap back up.
Must have been in there 3 years now but when it fails, I will just unpeel the tape and replace it
