New Webpage - Comments Appreciated
« on: September 27, 2014, 08:12:48 am »
Hi Fellow Window Cleaners

We have just created a new webpage and would like your feedback - good or bad - Negative or Positive - we would like them all. The video is in need of editing - again any thoughts most appreciated. The page is not totally completed but should be fully functional by the end of the week.

Needs to be a gap between the rhino top left and the page banner in purple with the text on it first thing I noticed.

Did you do it yourself?

It's very 'ragged'. On the left you have 'Call us .......' In one font and the right you have the same text in a different size font. Looks bad.

'How to get from this to this.......'  Get rid of the second hyphen. Use a full-stop.

Case studies. The text/font, underlining, non centralised text is atrocious.

If that was done by a web designer I'd lose him, now.

To be honest mate it's not my cup of tea, it's blocky and on the iPad bits don't line up.

If you were going for a minimalist look, you are wide of the mark, for me it looks cheap and nasty not what I would expect from a company such as yours.

No offence meant, just my views

Sorry but I think it could be better.
To cut a long story short it's too bitty.
You have two headings that more or less say the same thing which just adds clutter.
How about just one heading that says
"We can restore your aluminium windows without the need for costly painting"
See the video below.
The picture should be self explanatory but you could add 'before' and 'after'.
Also I am not sure if you provide the service or the custy does it themselves?
Also, you have the contact number twice and I think you only need it once.
"Thank you for calling: if you have a 1st floor flat, mid terraced house, lots of dogs, no parking, no side access, or no sense of humour, please press hold!
For all other enquiries, please press1"
