Any good?
Are these longer lasting than the Ez-Snap range for microbore to pole hose connection?

Been using the Ez-snap range for just shy of 4 years. Not had one fail yet.

Interesting.
I use the protecta balls to protect the fittings but find that the Ez-Snap female connectors start gradually dribbling then leaking after probably a month.
I have been using the plastic Quick Connect (medical connector) fittings for the past year.
And although they seem to last a reasonable amount of time (longer than Ez-Snap) I am finding a variation between connectors.
Now I have not taken the time to measure the dimensions of the fittings but I have found some will leak and spray water and some won't.
I've tried ptfe tape on the barb but it didn't cure it.
I wasted 30 mins on Friday morning swapping new connectors trying to find one that would work without spraying water out.
I gave up in the end and worked the rest of the day with gritted teeth getting a wet leg.  >:( ;D
I like the Ez-snap range but I don't find them very durable and wondered if the pro 026 were worth a try?

I swapped to them some time ago and find that they last months instead of weeks

I use jumbo ball protectors as found the small ones were next to useless.

I use 8mm fittings in 6mm pipe and double O clip.

No leaks no damage. :)

If you can deal with the weight, these are awesome. It is hard to keep the fitting off the ground though.

I use them throughout my van, RO and other items. Awesome!

Ok cheers for all replies.
I think I will order some 026 fittings and give them a try.
