Paint removal from windows.
« on: July 08, 2014, 09:34:39 am »
Hi. I've just been asked to remove quite a lot of splash back (of paint!) from a guest house windows. What's the best thing to use? I'm guessing not a metal scraper! Cheers.

Unfortunately.........

Scraper with a brand new blade is the best way.

And remember to only use the scraper going forward on the "push"  then lift off and start again with a new stroke NEVER drag the scraper back down on the glass it forms a wedge between the blade and glass - bit of grit and a bit of pressure and that's when the scratches usually happen - on the downstroke!
