What ive doing today.

Sort of window cleaning related, well it's on my window cleaning van

I did the rust today on my 2007 transit I cannot believe how bad these vans are for rusting and how quickly the rust spreads. In some places the paint was unbelievably thin, no wonder the rust spread so quickly. Anyway here are some before and after pics.

Just got some sealant to reapply and give the van a buff and it should look pretty good

Yes is is a mk7!  I had a 2003 connect before this and it had no rust at all.

Funny enough I was thinking about getting a tranny as my next van

Then I pulled up next to a 07 one today on a job and noticed all the wheel arches were going with rust

My vivaro is 04 but not a spot on it
Although I have had lots of problems with it although nothing massive yet but the electrical side of them is rubbish.

I did think about that, but I don't want a vivaro because of the reported engine problems, and I can afford a transit custom, so I will stick with it for now and see how long it lasts.
