Hi I got a new stiffer brush for frames but am worried it might scrape the glass. Suppliers say it will be OK.  What are your views. Cheers steve

What brush is it?
I use a Gardiner stiff mono bristle brush for almost everything.

I got it from Sureclean that are Gardiners stockists but it doesn't have a make on it. On the invoice it just says scrubber brush.

Some stiff brushes can mark upvc, so I would be cautious.
I used a Bayersan brush years ago which was prone to leaving scratches which became quite visible in a short time, so the brush was binned.
Gardiner brushes do not scratch upvc sills and frames in my experience.

I remember them brushes well, the softer one was the best brush I ever used but it was heaver than
a brick.
I wouldn't risk the stiffer brush on frames and it wouldn't be any good on glass as there is very little splay
in the bristles.
