Have a look at the roof tiles and you may find these are made from a type of black compressed substance (sorry not technical when it comes to roof tiles) have a few on my round and due to constant run off from these black roof tiles the upvc are stained for life and nothing will get them clean ... when I quote now always tell em if its green it will come off no issues but cant guarantee end result with black stains ... never had a problem

good luck !!  :)
Thanks Ian, it is what i thought, it is coming from the tiles!

Where else could it have come from?  ;D

This will usually still clean as per my earlier reply.

I have done a big house 6 months ago, there were some black stains on the white upvc gutters, i couldn't remove them with virosol and hot water! back today, even worse, most of the gutters have black stains now :(  Any idea what could mark the gutters like that? sorry no pic, too high. what can i use whithout a ladder to clean them?

Many thanks

Ben
Hi Ben

Go on Ebay and look for a product called the "pink stuff" it will take those black marks off with ease and also revives dull cills to a new look you have to apply it with a rag though and rinse straight away with water..hope this helps :)
