slx 47 or the new super max 50 .

Hi guys looking to purchase one of either of the above mentioned poles . Yes im aware gardiners stuff is good coz I have there kit any way but was after some users views on these poles please cheers .

Having used both and the older smax.

Extreme 47.

Anything over 45ft cleaning needs to be as easy as possible.

Anyone got the Evolution 60ft pole. I'd like a 60 - 65ft but not having to add poles like the extreme any good ones out there 👀

The beauty is BEING able to add & remove sections Danny boy! :) You buy a 65ft pole that doesn't feature this & that's what you are stuck with!!

the superman has some higher modulus carbon content so should be a bit stiffer than slx i believe.

its only around 250 more for the extreme though.

Yeah not been going to long and am at the top end of wat I have right now was gonna go for slx the super max is only 100 more but the extream 300 more than my initial plan plus goose neck etc and wide brush and vat its over a grand .Thanks for all your input guys

Do you have work for the pole?

If money is important would have to be the SLX as it's cheaper.

SLX47: + Compact (good for short vans) and price effective if only being used occasionally: - Heaviest of the 3 and not as rigid, largest handle diameter by 3mm
SMAX50: + 3mm smaller handle diameter, slightly lighter and stiffer in use due to higher modulus carbon content : - 25cm longer when closed
Xtreme47: + Lightest by nearly a kilo, most rigid and quick to use: - Most expensive of the 3 and needs more careful treatment

Cheers alex as u can appreciate buying the right stuff without handling or seeing before u buy is always good get input around various products before jumping in feet first .

Really good idea to get feedback from other users. Thought the key differences summed up would be useful.

One problem is that most users will only have ever used a maximum of 2 of these pole types and probably not all 3 types. In my own working life I have owned and regularly used all 3 of these poles. Each one is a noticeable improvement on the model below, which is why they have been brought out. However there is a price differential.

For me the decision would usually be based on either budget or amount that the pole will get used. If you have a set budget then this may automatically make the choice for you. Or if you plan on using this pole for a several large contracts with many hours of use per week then buy the best you can as this will make life easier.

Order now placed for the s max 50 looking forwards to cleaning with it rather than the very old heavy ionics 60 foot pole I bought for my larger jobs which is a proper logistical nightmare and a proper back breaker lol

A 50ft pole is always going to be a lot easier to use than a 60ft - you will enjoy the difference  :)

I used this not so long ago. BIG improvement over the older smax :)
