Gutter sucker carbon poles Opinions?
« on: April 02, 2014, 11:33:00 pm »
Looking to purchase some CF gutter poles. The gutter sucker poles seem a good price but I am concerned about two things. Firstly, its 44mm diameter. Will that make it more prone to blocking. I use mini downpipe at the moment and that is c. 50mm and that blocks from time to time.

Secondly, its only 30% carbon so basically the CLX of the gutter pole world. How is it in actual use? Is it very bendy?

Everything your thinking is the opposite there definitely not bendy and they really tuff.. I've not damaged any of mine in 100+ gutters...

Fact.. The carbon material is less  than the skyvac pole but this hasn't compromised it's performance.

If I ever get the odd blockage I find it's on the elbow mainly but I did get a broken tile stuck halfway down a pole section once.

Not sure what they would be like at big heights 35ft and over but the higher the carbon content the better

We use GrippaMax carbon poles, used them at 45ft, seriously good bit of kit and would recommend them.

The tools are very good too, with a good selection to tackle most jobs.
